Are you looking for a preppy Chicago family photographer? If you are a lover of monograms, hydrangeas, and/or chocolate labs, look no further! I found this little grove of hydrangeas in Lincoln Park that were screaming for me to use them on this family. We had a fantastic time around the park that early evening, looking for the best light. Well, looking for the best light that was not among the crowds!

I couldn’t get over how sweet our little girl’s monogrammed outfit and giant bow fit so well with the setting. The family chocolate lab was also a dream dog that sat and listened the whole time! I have photographed this family several times now, including their latest addition (which I will blog later!). They are so easy to work with and full of smiles and genuine laughter.

I have come back to Lincoln Park time and time again for family photos, and it never disappoints. It doesn’t matter the season, there is so much variety. Usually my city moms want a mix of nature and skyline, and I can’t think of a better place. Fall is popular for photos, but I’m telling you, summer in the park can’t be beat!

I know that the urban/chic/photojournalistic/hair blowing in the wind look is popular in the city, but if you are looking for a preppy Chicago family photographer, I’m your girl!
