In the world of lifestyle newborn photography, I often find that the first child had a posed newborn session with props and the like, and now the mother wants a more organic, natural session that involves the older sibling. It makes total sense to me! Second time parents are more relaxed and so that’s exactly how they want their photos to feel. Settled back at home after delivery, their desire is to have a comfortable lifestyle session involving the whole family. It makes a mama’s heart melt when she sees her firstborn loving and kissing on her newest, and all the more personal and sweet when that’s captured in their nursery or on their bed.
