Being a Chicago fall family photographer is such a wonderful job! I love the foliage, the golden light, the cozy sweaters moms wear, and of course the tiny moccasins and baby boots!  The way the light falls through the colorful trees in Lincoln Park about an hour before sunset is just so dreamy. I love taking my clients there throughout September, October, and November. Each month has a different autumn look about it as the colors change.

This family photo session in late October was just such a dream! The Chicago skyline in the background here at Lincoln Park’s Boardwalk is unmatched in the city, in my opinion. Over by the petting zoo, the yellow leaves coupled with the red barn in the background made such a beautiful color scheme. I loved the outfits mom picked out – cozy neutrals of oatmeal, soft blues and soft pinks.
