The last time these two were in front of my camera was for their engagement photos three Septembers ago! Well, this September, we were joined by a baby bump. What an honor to see them go from giggly almost newly-weds to excited almost parents. They were just as sweet and genuine as they were a few years ago, and will make amazing parents to their little girl come November.

It was my first time photographing in Winnemac Park. Where have I been?! It was gorgeous. We felt like we were in Savannah with all the willow trees surrounding us. It’s a rare occasion that I feel like I’m in the South when I’m very much in the Midwest. There was also a kiss of autumn peeking through in the background. I can’t wait to go back!

If you’re planning to have a maternity shoot in the future, I highly recommend putting two outfits together for the session! Think, engagement shoot, but with a bump 😉 I loved the more formal look we started with here, dad in a jacket and mom in a white dress, followed by more casual attire with a playful floral maternity dress. Moms, don’t be afraid to rock some heels or wedges if you can manage. Pregnant women look fabulous in heels! Both dresses in this shoot were from Pink Blush, an amazing maternity clothing store that has super affordable outfits!
