Arlington Heights Newborn Photographer

You may remember Beth and Jim’s Pregnancy Announcement from earlier this year – well, we’re back and this time baby boy is HERE! It was such a joy to be able to document these friends when their baby was as small as a sesame seed in Beth’s belly, to now as they hold him in their arms. It seems like he was here in no time at all. I love to watch new parents interact and become a team like they never have been before. One day it’s just the two of them, and the next day baby’s here and its diaper changes and feedings and baths and figuring it all out…somehow they just roll with it and what was once so foreign becomes the most natural process ever.

Sometimes I think it’s easier to decorate for a girl’s nursery just because the art of decorating lends to girly stuff, but Beth did such a beautiful job making this nursery precious for a baby boy! The woodland theme with the gray hues and arrows are perfect for a boy room. Permanent additions to the nursery are their two Huskies, who were mighty interested in this tiny fella who is now part of the household. They very much wanted to be part of this photo shoot, and put on their best doggy model faces.

I can tell you that these two are going to be amazing parents who will raise their son with all the strength, grace and love that they receive from the Lord. He will be deeply loved by his church family and community, surrounded by those who will tell him about Jesus and what He’s done for him. While it is always someone’s personal choice if they will believe that, I know that the love of God will be modeled for him every day, depicted in how his parents handle life’s highs and lows and seen through their worship and passion.

“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born I set you apart.” Jeremiah 1:5

This verse sometimes gives me chills, to think that God knew us before we were even thought of, it is astounding. He forms us, He knows us, and he loves us! I know Beth and Jim will tell this to their son every day. Congratulations you two!
